Africa's stories have long been stories of war, abuse, poverty, death and suffering. For our 2024 collection, we are looking for stories of African joy. We seek stories of friendships, love, strong familial bonds, nostalgic school days, mischief, superstition, spies, whatever allows us to tell an alternative story. We want a collection that will make our readers laugh, smile and giggle or be bewildered by your protagonists. Send us your spooky ghost stories, and your quirky villains. We want a vibrant lively collection! The subject matter might be heavy, but if your protagonist has a unique voice, that can turn a somber subject into thriller, then we want to hear from you!
